Holiday hours

The tea room will be operating normal business hours Tuesday November 22 and Wednesday November 23. We will be CLOSED Thanksgiving day, Friday November 25 and Saturday November 26 to allow our staff time for Holiday travel and time with their families.

We wish you a very safe and blessed Thanksgiving. We are so thankful for each and every one of our dear customers!!!

SOUP-ER easy recipe

Today has been a cool and rainy Sunday here in the Fort Worth area. I'm so excited that it's no longer a THOUSAND degrees outside!! But days like these make me want to do two things...SLEEP and EAT :) (Although, I NEVER get to just sleep and eat! One can dream though.)

One of my favorite recipes to make on a day like this is Taco Soup. It's cheap, easy and delicious. My family likes it on top of Fritos and topped with cheese...YUM!!! Here's the recipe...

It's that time of year again my friends!! Fall has arrived and so have our wonderful fall flavors. We have been busy creating new recipes and coming up with menus that feature our favorite flavors of the season. Our customer favorite Pumpkin Soup is back and our homemade Pumpkin Butter is featured once again with our yummy popovers. Be sure to visit us as we feature some of our newest recipes throughout the season including a new favorite Cream of Carrot Soup and Turkey Cranberry Quiche. We're also excited to present our new Truly Texas products. We now have Jalapeno Peach preserves, Amaretto Peach & Pecan preserves, Down Home Blueberry Jam, Lone Star Jalapeno Jelly and Texas Wildflower Honey. Each flavor is available in 10oz. jars. We also have 3 pack gift boxes available that are perfect for gift giving!

New website!!!

Well, it's not really new...I just haven't posted here on Blogger since launching the website ;)

But our website, www.gardencottagetearoom.com, launched a few months ago and we'd love for you to check it out. It has all the information you'll need regarding lunch menus, party information and tea room "happenings".
